Do you think there's a double standard for extreme diets vs plastic surgery?

  • Extreme dieting for top gg idols usually promotes body image that are not natural/healthy and it can be harmful to younger fans who see it as ideal body type and try hard to look like that.

But plastic surgery does the same. And I've not seen enough concern over that.

People drag idols who get plastic surgery but aren't concerned by the harmful image that perpetuates for young fans?

  • In my opinion, everyone has the right to decide how to look and what operations to do. If a person has any problems with self-esteem, he needs to see a psychologist. I'm glad our country's plastic surgery is very developed.

i think the thing is that, plastic surgery is VERY VERY common. some even get it while in middle school, and that is of no relation to any celebrity. They dont see a celeb and be like, ima get PS. PS is the norm and culture for SK. my friend's gf was gifted a visit to PS for her nose, when she was in HS lol, but she didnt take it. i only have some small sources that i experience or hear about so maybe someone who's a native of SK can provide better input.

although i agree with the healthy body image, but PS is less likely to be affected by celebs. SK, its all about images. wealth, face, body, very superficial, like kpop, but people still idolizing them so... yeah lol.

  • I think Companies should promote healthy eating on their Idols.
