It's because they see BTS doing stadium shows in the US suddenly they think it's that easy. It's the same with other kpop fans. It's just amusing how the companies & kpop fans always see BTS as the standard and try to reach it. But even if any kpop groups manage to do a stadium show in the US, I don't see them selling out a whole ass stadium tour in North America like BTS is doing.

Let me give a reality check. The company checks the demand whenever they release music/merchs. If the demand is not higher or near stadium capacity in a city, obviously the company will not gamble the investors money.
This is NOT ABOUT football or sports events, it’s about DEMAND. BTS literally held their 4 nights sold out shows in Sofi Stadium in November last year (during football season) and 3 days before SUPERBOWL was held. Bad Bunny, The Weekend and other big artists are also booked for touring during football season this year. And YG had a whole ass 2 years to plan/book the venues, so take a hint. Like, it's just full on copium atp 🤭
Well, I think YG's estimation on blackpink NA venue is right. They're definitely adding second dates in every venue, so in total it's 14 dates. And the attendees will be 200k in total.
Cause, if we compare Twice had a 35k audience in 2019 while Blackpink doubled that with 75k audience. And this year, Twice had 100k attendees, so Blackpink's 200k attendees this year is just right.
YG might add more dates next year tho with bigger capacity if the demand is overwhelming.
