    General public doesn't care about new boy groups anymore unless some Cha Eunwoo of the 4th gen pop up and goes viral for his beautiful face, personality or acts like that dk-whatever the name was member in a bl drama.

    Korean Gp cares about visuals only.

    and so are lots of male idols. heck there are even more handsome idols than him that have the same qualities and are in big companies (think of nct's most popular members).


    unless you're cha eun woo level of handsome or gd level of charimsa and skills, then the gp will stick to it girls.

    For starters, only bh and fans push him so hard and media play calling him it boy when no one really knows who he is or what group he is in, and second but most important, he doesnt even has the visuals or anything outstanding to call him it boy.

    he needs a proper solo career to become an it boy. you would argue bts maknae line doesn't have any solo career either but they are from the biggest effing group. everybody else needs actual solo career to have it status. the company push can only make him the most popular member in the group.

    If hybe really wants him to be an it boy, they should guest him in any Korean entertainment shows to introduce more to public. But it looks like they're pushing soobin more.
