Why do new boy groups cite Ateez/Stray Kids as influence not Txt?

  • Quite a few new boy groups say they look up to Ateez and practice Ateez songs. Same with Stray Kids. Txt is as or even more popular yet they never get cited as influence by new boy groups, why so?

  • For what people would admire TXT for? Serious question. ATEEZ and Stray Kids are more talented, better performers. It's understandable.

  • Yeonjun is a good performer, but txt's music is overrated and even boring. Like you can have non noise songs and still make it memorable.

Not that ateez and sk noise music is the greatest thing you ever heard but it's catchy. The same reason bts and bp are popular in the west, their music have the same appeal and westerners like that kind more

  • their concepts are very similar, bad boy, boy crush, etc. most bg also have the same music. I don't see these new bands dancing to blue hour or lovesong or Crown, not even Frost. and if they are new they want to learn something similar

  • They are dynamic performers with challenging songs to sing and dance. TXT’s stuff is pretty simple and straightforward.

  • If you look closely, most of the bands that cite Ateez are rockies that don't come from a big company. I know, you'll tell me that it's repetitive and boring as an explanation, but it's true. Craxy's manager's recent post proves it: it's nearly impossible to get famous, and it is even more true with the 4th generation. Ateez are the first group who was started by KQ entertainment. They have a lot of trouble but in the end they are known... and successful. The rockies therefore have this idea that it is possible to succeed. Ateez maybe gives them some hope?
