Ofcourse she knows many many fans love her - every idol would wish for 60m+ followers & 5m likes average, but i do think she knows she is (one of) the least popular member(s) of blackpink & she does care about that.
Jisoo is also less popular than Jennie & lisa, but she doesn't seem very bothered by that

If blackpink were qualified for goty after 2y of hiatus, rosé's solo in 2021 wouldn't be a problem... Her songs just didn't make any noise compared to lisas

there is a reason yg is not letting us know Lalisa sales numbers, she rocked the Pinks boat, and yg does not want us to know she can sale more than her group. And the girls knows it.

True. Rose looks happy. Akgae fans really want the girls to look like they don't like each other. But the girls seem like family. In other words, self-confident and happy people do not envy anyone's success.

Rosie looked a little self-conscious and stiff all night. Maybe she didn't like her hair or the way she was styled or something.
If she felt sad about her solo not getting a nomination I could understand that, but at least she was promoted properly at the time. After all the half-assedness of Lisa's promotions it felt karmic to see her get a big win. And YG didn't even congratulate Lisa by the way, they just bragged about the VMA stage shout-out Lisa gave them in her speech.

you can wish for more and still be happy for your friend though...
for someone like rosé - who tends to keep up with achievements - it must be noticable that lisa's solo has gotten a lot more (international) support than hers & since they were the only ones who got a solo last year, it's hard not to compare. i really believe rosé isn't as happy for lisa as jennie & jisoo are.

I don't think she changed when the older members looked at her as much as she matched their energy. It's a normal thing to do socially. She was smiling and quietly celebrating Lisa's win and then when she saw J&J with more of an "AHHHH!" face, she joined in.
On The Ground was released in March 2021. It would have qualified for last year's VMA's. I don't know why it didn't. Lalisa was released in September - the qualification period runs from summer-summer.

They need more engagements maybe that's why they included Lisa only to accommodate other kpop groups as well. Otherwise I feel like otg deserves it more than lalaisa didn't it chart #1 on global charts?

Having them compete with each other would have brought more engagements, I think this proves the point that they took the solos under as BP to nominate them, they just chose the most recently
