with this type of answers I can totally understand why anons talk out of their asses to call x song a flop
-
-
Not really
-
I didn't even know there was a digital thread.
-

Nobody have time for that. Whom are we gonna talk with, with such knowledge irl? Pannchoa commenter and stan twitter?
Other chart nerds, duh!!

Yeah kinda clear by these answers why the threads on anons are full of shit when it comes to songs charting. You don't know anything about when a group is actually flopping or hitting it good, its crazy cause ignorant people should be the last to do judgements and yet you all do without the basic knowledge

This is why people stay in anons, because it's clear from all the OP's comments that people on main are really judgemental and aggressive if people don't like or do exactly what they want.

I don't talk about any of that but I'm pretty sure it's spelled quadratic. Might have been an attempt at a sick burn if it was spelled correctly. But then again you can't even spell aggressive so I doubt it.

Yes to all the questions except the last one, I'm not a producer.
And I only visit the digital thread once in a while, it's kinda boring.
Why those questions?

I'ts a given and not just in k-pop that often the most ignorant people will shout the loudest and think they're right the most.
Were there some recent examples that got you annoyed, leading to this thread?

the answer to the last question is promotions on a platform that expands past your regular captive audience listeners.
for a mid/rookie group, music shows and youtube/tiktok challenges could be enough.
for more popular groups music shows and dance challenges won't do much but popular tv varieties could boost chart performance.
etc etc

Its the overall vibe of anons, you have a lot of people saying the stupidest shit ever based on their asses about charts when they don't even get what a unique listener is or what is South Korea's music preferences

some controversial opinions from a chart nerd:
"feel my rhythm" is a bigger hit than "savage"
"weekend" is a bigger hit than "invu"
"love dive" will end up being a bigger hit than "next level" based on chart trajectory

I agree with Weekend vs INVU.
Feel my rhythm has better uls and gaon points in its current positions in comparison with Savage when it was at the same ranking, but its at 40s and in the next 4 months there is an upcoming album drop of BP and SMTM is coming back, so it could fall even shorter than Savage in longevity.
LD is outdoing a little NL in the race for 500m points so I am guessing the gap will become shorter than expected if the song falls in the following months
