Why do the public prefer Wonyoung/Yujin to Karina/Winter?

you can't compare their public reception because while Yujin and Wonyoung have been in the public eyes for years and have been pushed individually, Karina and Winter are newcomers and haven't been pushed individually yet.

Wonyoung did not "fix her whole face" some of you guys are really delusional and love to exaggerate. At most she's probably got some minor work done. She's been in the public eye since she was 13 years old and during the time of produce 48 she was still chosen as a visual and koreans loved her as center.

I dont see anyone preferring yunjin over karina or winter

The only thing that person said was "I have never seen a korean more beautiful than Wonyoung" how isnt that a praise? Its pretty much saying Wonyoung is the prettiest korean they have seen, with or without surgery. Weird of you to turn that into something problematic and dismiss it only because she supposedly had cosmetic procedure.

As to answer your question, Karina is more western-ish and snake-ish beauty which is why she is big in China. Winter is just a stan attractor. Wy has more innocent princess vibe Koreans love + her proportions. Yujin also has an actress visual as Koreans say. Plus sm doesn't let them promote individually and both WY and Y had 4 years advantage.

Chaewon is pretty but she more like Winter and just a stan attractor. Sakura is Japanese and her beauty was not loved as Wy's was.
