this is the 1st time they can’t top the charts and this is the biggest hiatus and hype they had.

that's so stupid. They top EVERY chart but melon and it isn't the first time. Before you try to troll, learn how to do it.

They're doing good. They're just 1 spot shy of having RAK/PAK. And it's only in chart and it's not like they've been dominated, they're I think 60-70k ULs behind, that is reachable with promotions. Look at the groups rising in the charts in the middle of their promotions

If BP are flopping, the rest of the KPop industry are flopped, past tense.

Kpop artists are usually going toe to toe with random trot artists on melon and losing.

So as much as the kpop community is hoping that despite all the markers of massive success that a new group is holding number one on melon means the world is finally turning its back on Blackpink, I'm afraid it just doesn't work that way...

No, they are far from flopping. With IVE's comeback today and NJ still slaying, it's just not easy for BP to be #1 in everything. Keep fighting though!

Honestly they did flop. The biggest girl group in the world after a 2 year hiatus and they couldn't hit number 1 on release against a 2 WEEK old group. At the end of the day, BTS and Hybe's power is too much for Blackpink. Imagine if they had Twice's amount of releases, they'd probably flop like Twice have too tbh.

PV is almost 90k + ULs behind, even with the promotions rolling in it will hard to out chart attention on melon plus IVE occupied bugs now and most likely genie soon as well, so no raks in sight for today. I hope it goes super viral by the time promos come, I'm getting annoyed by melon being the only chart falling behind for pv.

Such a damn lie, the gg bloodbath thread in the main and in the poll about who was going to be better was filled with blinks saying they didn't have a clue when it came to korean charting. Why spreading lies? even the only thing we were sure about topping was internationally, and guess what? I t did happen. 10m streams unfiltered and the biggest 1st week by a gg this year with a gap of 15m in just 3 days.
