So did Ive and Twice become million sellers?

  • Comeback is near but both companies are silent…Do you think they have crossed a million preorders?

    Approved the thread.
  • One of them will probably just barely get to a million.

  • if they did, their companies would already mediaplayed and bragged but they couldn’t even crack 1 million

Blackpink is about to release an album in september so it's not really a matter of if, but when.

  • They are not aespa and will never be

This is so true, facts right here. :finger-heart:

Unlike Aespa, Twice and Ive have shown they have loyal fan bases and probably will have until they disband, unlike Aespa who have success stans, Sm stans and cbars and not to mention no international appeal. Twice have had amazing careers and i think Ive will too.

Aespa on the other hand seem to have lost most of the initial hype surrounding them. They won't be the leading 4th gen gg like people predicted. New Jeans is proof of that. Aespa will be a mid tier 4th gen group, which is fine.

  • aespa outsold them and have the best selling gg album so??? aespa are the first to cross 1.7 million so i don’t get why you are setting bp up

Lmao you're funny. BP has surpassed it by now. They were 1.5 pre-orders before PV came out

  • they're not million seller, they're million certified

Error, SNSD never was a million seller, their japanese repakage that they counted landed them at 873k sales only

SNSD sold 850k of the original Japan album and then 100k of The Boys repack version. Oricon had the final number around 900k+ but full shipment sales it’s RIAJ certified 1million so yes they did do it.

Oricon is like Hanteo in that it counts only select stores and sites. RIAJ is like Gaon, it counts the entire shipment of sales. In Korea SNSD Gaon numbers have always significantly bigger than Hanteo numbers but no one uses Hanteo numbers for keeping track of records.

So they did not in fact sell a million with one album and are irrelevant to this conversation.

  • With Itzy selling 900k Twice need to at least be selling 1.4m. If not pretty much every popular 4th gen group has caught up to them not only in digitals but physicals as well and the slow down is very real. Every seeing massive increases whilst Twice moving at a snails pace.
