Why is Blackpink underperforming on Apple Music?

    They are #163 on us Apple Music, compared to their us Spotify charting at #6

    bc bp fell off.....

    the initial 24hr mass streaming hype won't carry the song, they need the gp but they ditched them for these 4th gen grps

    They need Japan to perform better on apple music.

    4th gen groups aren’t doing their numbers anywhere globally. It has nothing to do with them.

    Well aespa has to reach 3M in their next cb to beat bp's upcoming album sales

    Japan is a massive contributor in apple music and they got everything going up against them there. YG has never pushed them on that market, no japanese members plus they are more into the cutesy concept. Also the fact this song is like 70% english, I know bts did well with eng songs but they are like the one exception

    Yes. DYNAMITE topped the most streamed song in Apple Music last year with just Japan carrying it. Beating all the popular rappers in the US who are known to lead in the platform.

    Bp is not famous in Japan but I’m curious too as spotify can be inflated numbers

    Last time they claimed that they had the GP why loves their music. And t's why they were so high on Apple music. Maybe they have declined now.

    Fans can only mass stream so much.

    Most kpop groups who do good in am are hard carried by Japan so bp falls back there
