    Hybe is treating New Jeans very differently from other Hybe's artists
    - They made a whole new app for New Jeans to interact with their fans while their other artists are using weverse.
    - Making them seem exclusive? So far they have only released their music and MVs, none of those extra behind the scene/episode/reaction videos so far on their youtube channel. I'm guessing no debut variety shows too -> BP's strategy?

    It's a group under ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE. Of course it'll be different. Min Heejin, rather than the people in charge of HYBE, has way more control of this group.


    It's like how Black Label artists, such as Somi, are treated differently from usual YG artists even though they're all under the same big company. Teddy and Kush manage The Black Label, so they have much more control over what happens there.

    I've said postured before that calling Hybe and all the artists under it the same as say SM or JYP artists is a nonsequiter because Hybe is the parent/umbrella company of the individual companies such as Source, Pledis and now Ador that the many groups are actually under. Of course there is a relationship, but it is not as direct as the former cases. Hybe has a say, but in the end seems to provide more of the financial support rather than creative vision, which seems to be relegated to each individual company.
