Is Blackpink serving us another How you like that/DDDD?

So rumors are that they’re doing a snake concept. Do you think the music will be different or similar to DDDD/KTL/HYLT?

Who knows, and if it is I’ll be glad. All three of those songs were bops idc what anyone says. But I think they’ll incorporate some punk rock elements in this one.

DDDD was huge. HYLT was huge. When they do something different, like Lovesick Girls, people complain. As we've seen with other groups lately, offering diversity of concept in order to try and please loud online stans, a pat on the head for doing something different is not always going to translate into a successful comeback. So if they want to break more records yeah, it will probably be that kind of concept because it's where they shine.

dddd, ktl and hylt are BOPS. they were all massive hits, both in korea and internationally so i don't see why they should change the formula if it's working

despite what everybody says, these 3 songs sound nothing alike like i haven't met a single person that confuses hylt for dddd or ktl for hylt. i don't even know how and why kpop stans decided they're similar when they're clearly not

the girl crush concept and edm / dance-pop music are their brands. i don't understand why everybody expects them to release something else when this is who blackpink are and the reason why they're so popular. it's like expecting aespa to suddenly ditch the whole kwangya concept and release something like likey by twice out of nowhere
