Armys obsession with charts and sales is backfiring them.

  • They set jhope up and now he's getting dragged every everywhere. I hope now y'all have realized that sales don't matter all the time.

    Approved the thread.
  • I don't know what their goals were but his comeback announced less than a month after an expensive anthology and Hybe treated him like a guinea pig.

His album wasn't general public friendly at all. He did pretty well considering he is not the most popular member.

  • I think armies overestimated their solo popularity. Like 2nd gen were able to promote on shows bc the public watched them. Bts didn't have that privilege bc they were not from big 3 and when they blew up and finally had the public's attention, they had no time for kshows or solo promotions. They had to ride on the group's popularity overseas and it paid back handsomely - hybe is bigger than big 3 combined financially.

Idols nowadays can do their own shows which is why the public knows little about members individually. I mean look at big bang and look at bts. Look at blackpink and bts. I know bp don't promote that much, but they had big 3 privilege + yg brand + they did promote even if the amount is small, I mean Jennie went viral, but they didn't have to work hard the way bts did; the eyes were already on bp right from the start

The guys don't help by not promoting on shows too. I think they're shy and not experienced, but it's not going to change and they can't count on their fans forever. If they want longetivity () on charts and cfs and acknowledgment, they need to step out of their comfort zone.

  • He is doing amazing, Kpop stans trying to make him look like a flop desperately when he has made several records with all the constraints he has from new BB rules to physical CDs to an offbeat album.

Armys see his solo as a massive success, so try harder.

  • I really want other bts members to promote their solos just like other kpop idols so I could see kpoppies cry. Given the circumstances he did really well

Only agree on the members being shy bit because they have thus far been isolated from the rest of the industry, initially cause they were the only group from a nugu company and later isolated due to their status. Big Hit also kept them coccooned and their work schedule left them barely any time to socialise either.

I don't think most of them can or will be able to suddenly become extremely social with rest of the entertainment industry. Some who are more extroverted like Hobi, Taehyung, Jimin and Namjoon may still go for it and make some appearances on shows. Yoongi possibly too. Jin might do varieties. Jungkook is the only one whose extreme shyness and introvertedness may hinder him.

There yall go again bringing BP into everything

  • if only army didn't overestimated them then nothing of this negative talk from non fans would've happened :check-bee: lets us all take note and don't do this to our favs

  • We all know, the one which has a group comeback after years but their fans are still obsessed with BTS . BTS is the standard wbk

You got it. BTS bashing threads in anons rising in direct proportion to a particular group's comeback news and influx of their fans on AKP.

I hope you know you sound ridiculous. That man is unbothered and will perform infront of ten thousands people and selling out merch tents left & right. So, keep living inside your bubble and separate yourself from the reality. Idk, you do you anon.
