The main problem is that they look like they are bored and robotic while performing. Even if they sang live, it's just boring for the audience to watch.

BTS are just 1 example of the many where boy groups and bg idols get praised and protected for their 'cuteness' when they fail at lipsyncing.

It's obvious they're lip syncing because their songs are more high energy yet they're pretty lethargic live. So the mismatch makes it clear something is up.
Other groups have synced before but they at least put the effort in their dance so you can kiiiinda look past it. Aespa look like they don't care if you notice them lip sync.

no, their mama 2021 stage sucks because of lack of intro, black big empty stage, ugly too simple outfits, non-existent make-up and generally poor visual effects, choreography that focuses on centering group members on stage, too small movements devoid of dynamics. these girls' choreographies are based on trying not to step on each other. lipsync and facials are the least important thing. If they stood there in white outfits, heavy makeup and had choreographies in which they could fill the entire scene, it would be different. it's all sm's fault.

3 out of 6 cases on these lip sync mishaps were form SM groups. While their fans keep saying they are so good singing live the real thing is that SM makes excellent "lives" tapes for their idols to lip sync
the problems goes when their perfect idols can´t even do the basic job. SM is all about appearances

I've said this a lot.
The fact that aespa lip syncs isn't really that bad, most groups do it at some point. Whatever.
It's that they do it badly.
Lip sync, good lip sync, is a skill. It's definitely a learnt skill and it takes practice to do it convincingly. You still need to know the lyrics and song. You still need to know the delivery. You cant just flap your gums randomly or do the bare minimum mouth movement.
Good lip sync is part of the show, the illusion of stage performance. Even if the audience deep down knows it's lip sync, if its done well, the audience will accept it and go with it.
But if its done badly, it breaks the illusion, sometimes completely. You notice it happen, you start looking for it, you start looking for other flaws.
aespa are BAD at the skill of lip sync (hehe, synk?). They flub it constantly and make it obvious they are doing it and this in turn sets them up for criticism of the rest of their stage skills as well.
And honestly, Ningning is the worst at it. She is the most painfully obvious that she is lipsyncing

Then what about groups that aren't as talented as SM groups (and before anyone says it yes they clearly when they have the like of Taeyeon, Wendy, Baekhyun, Kai, Hyoyeon Seulgi etc) but rely on lip sync for their careers?
Twice proved they can't sing live during multiple encores so how did they magically have the ability to perform during "lives" decently without any vocal issues for all those years? Lip sync.

or its called improvement. just because giselle doesnt improve doesnt mean other groups don't work on their flaws and improve.

So you really think Twice are as capable singers as SM idols? Twice who struggle to an encore with no choreography, no pressure, not even an audience and have to rely on lip sync or heavy back track for performances?
You really believe Jihyo as a main singer is up there with SM main singers like Taeyeon, Wendy Luna or even Winter? Lmao. Most of sm ggs lead singers like Seohyun, Tiffany, Seulgi etc are better than Jihyo.
Red velvet and Twice are from the same gen but their vocal abilities are miles apart. For starters one can actually the songs live properly while the other struggles without lip sync to hide their shortcomings. You can think whatever you want but at the of the day this is reality not make believe.
