why is everyone saying "they'll do well if armys get behind them" like i see this exact sentence at least twice on every single thread made about newjeans? i didn't see such a thing about le sserafim and that group had 3 already popular members worth getting behind.
btw i'm not saying that as a jealous lsrf stan or something. i'm just puzzled by how and why people think nj's success depends on whether or not armys will support them. i've never seen anything like that before. like are they such a big factor? sure, the fandom is huge but a pretty big part of it are self-titled "bts poppers" who've sworn they'll not listen to another group besides bts, even less if it's a gg so why are kpop stans thinking they'll get behind exactly new jeans
