i think each member will collab with or perform with a famous k-celeb that is well known by the gp more than the bts members by a mile. jhope just performed with iu and we all know how famous she is and known by the gp. maybe they will work with someone like jay park and crush and zico and maybe iu again. it's like how collabed with big names in the us to draw attention. let me know what you think ![]()

I think you are angry that BTS continue to remain in the limelight despite being on a hiatus and so spew bullshit in jealousy and bitterness.
J-hope's Palette with IU is about to become her most watched Palette video ever in less than a day. So much for BTS members irrelevancy.
As for their western collabs, last I checked Puth himself said that he requested JK for a collab.
But then reasoning with a fool like OP is an exercise in futility when they think BTS achieved fame in US through western collabs.

Except for IU, none you have mentioned are more famous than BTS themselves with the Korean GP. Even IU is on their level, when it comes to name recognition.
Their challenge might be more on songs appealing to K GP, where Hip hop does not sell as well as Trot, Ballads, when it comes to Solos.
In that sense, it might make sense for them to do some collabs to diversify their genres. But otherwise they don't need collabs to be generally successful as soloists. They will do well, but will they do as well as LYW or IU with GP, that will vary.
Like Jack in the box - definitely successful, but not as successful as LYW this year on the K charts.
More successful internationally as expected.

LYW, to beat if doing ballads/vocals etc.
BE'O, if doing hip-hop .
Doing collabs is a valid and good way to expand one's range and also for promotions.
Even the most famous can do so. There is no shame or harm in doing so.
