Realistically how will NewJeans do on charts (domestic and international)?

No trolling or setting up in this thread pls. I want to know what you think about their charting power. Album sales show fandom support but no fandom alone can carry digital charting, so this is gonna be way harder to predict. How do you think NewJeans will perform on domestic and international charts? Will they live up to the hype and top charts or just be middling at best? And will they do better domestically or internationally?

No high hopes the group looks uninteresting to me

i have a feeling their spotify numbers are going to be really good just behind ive or even may surpass them because I haven't seen so much hype for a gg songs like their's from int fans in 4th gen

It seems to be a very Western friendly sound so should chart solidly. I see i-fans hyping a lot, but is Korea as in love with them?

i think they will do better than lesserfim at least, maybe peak at 5?

now that i have listened to them more, i think their spotify/international charting may just be below ive or on par with them. now for the korean one, i have no idea. i'm pretty sure they're going to have good numbers but not ive and aespa (pre girls) digital charting. what i'm sure their weakness is will be youtube views and ranking. they don't have hype outside kpop bubble and just not an mv worth replaying.

There's no difference between hybe stans and armya, they're all the same people

As an army, I was expecting them to flop, or atleast not do that well, I am pretty surprised. I don't like their music but good for them.

Well they are charting in the top #7 places in YouTube Korea. And the Korean crowd seems to be pretty aware of them. So I’m guessing they’ll do pretty well.

the hype is exaggerated they are literal nobodies still so they won't chart well
