... pull off the release of 2 pre-release singles. Aespa aren't ready for that yet, they aren't big enough. it's still new practice in kpop Because not all groups do it and they can't do it. Happens that pre-release does very well (hylt), or medium (dinga) or does nothing to a group, life's too short is a good example to it.
Releasing two singles beforehand really took all the hype. I know people might not like their title but if it was only single it would've worked better. Even if you say illusion is bside, it's still a single released before actual title. And life's too short obviously has a MV. I think they should've released only illusion as pre-release or nothing. It kinda ruined everything imo
