    ... pull off the release of 2 pre-release singles. Aespa aren't ready for that yet, they aren't big enough. it's still new practice in kpop Because not all groups do it and they can't do it. Happens that pre-release does very well (hylt), or medium (dinga) or does nothing to a group, life's too short is a good example to it.

    Releasing two singles beforehand really took all the hype. I know people might not like their title but if it was only single it would've worked better. Even if you say illusion is bside, it's still a single released before actual title. And life's too short obviously has a MV. I think they should've released only illusion as pre-release or nothing. It kinda ruined everything imo

    they could release LTS right after coachella without that fancy MV and promo pics, the MV could be vlog style, nothing else needed

    Well illusion is doing better than most gg songs

    So it was definitely a good move to release illusion as a pre-release

    the problem is not promoting. Promoting a song makes a lot of difference. If they bothered to perform the song in music shows when they dropped it, it would have gathered more hype. Also you need to wait a little bit to let one prerelease marinate before dropping another soon.

    Illusion is doing pretty well, actually, even better than a number of other girl groups' main title tracks.


    I guess they're just doing their using testing and trying stuff out, see how things go.

    Illusion as pre-release was fine, that cringey ass disney song LTS had no reason of being in the album, let alone as a pre-release lol.

    But according to some Mys, Girls is doing well atm... or is it not good enough for Mys to boast about?
