Does Ready for Love sound really dated?

    Does the song sound like it’s from 2011? Why would YG release this before their comeback, and especially this cheap looking concert too.

    honestly that's what i've been thinking too. the song's cute but idk y other blinks hype it up sm. i mean any content is good content with the pinks but still... can we do something more modern and new? not a dance song with a drop from 2015?

    i thought this was an old song when i heard it. yeah its a blackpink sound but it feels like i already heard this before from them

    Yeah and that's exactly why they didn't use as single. It wouldn't surprise if it's at best a b-side in the album or not even that

    Probably why they scaled it off the album. The production sounds cheap and even though it’s the black pink sound The Album sings had much more of a modern and fresher sound imo

    It's a throwaway for a collab for that reason. Takes me back to when YG artists used to make full songs for commercials. I'm hoping it won't appear on the album though.

    the song is good until the drop lol typical teddy drop. i'm worried for bp if they go for their usual sound tbh. the music taste of the industry has changed since their last comeback.

    the song was never ment to go out. But some Blinks had to yell and cry about when was it coming

    and yg decided to throw a bone at us, also they released some numbers about Lisa Sales, but not all the number : But Ready for love is out YEAAAAAHHHHH!!! you are all dumb

    All the haters pretending they wouldn't be screaming "SOTY!" if their faves came out with it.

    Sure it sounds a bit dated but that's not necessarily a bad thing because many people still like the style. I remember similar complaints about Forever Young etc. but the songs still did really well.
