Internationally, it makes sense considering the song is way too long and there's absolutely nothing catchy about it at all
But in Korea? I never would have expected an Aespa official title track to do worse than DCT or Step Back. Even if people don't like the song, it's not like Koreans are above token-stanning terrible songs if they are from popular groups...like Signal won SOTY, Ice Cream peaked at #6 on Melon 24Hits, and even Zimzalabim was #3 on Melon the day it was released
IMO, I think it's because Aespa's long hiatus while other groups like IVE and LSRF were debuting and two underwhelming pre-releases killed the hype. If SM had left Illusion for the album and scraped LTS altogether, I bet we would have seen Girls charting similar to Savage initially
