-It is nothing like the typical Japanese dramas, but it sure is the type of dramas that Japanese would loveㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Does Japan even have dramas? Their actors and actresses' acting skills are so bad, the dramas look like comedy shows to me...

-The perfect drama Japanese could only dream ofㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-It is indeed the type of drama that Japanese would likeㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I have a feeling they would remake this drama sooner or laterㅎ

-I really enjoy watching this drama, it's really nice. On the other side, I can't bring myself to watch Japanese dramas because they're so cringy, it's driving me insane.

-Our Youngwoo is adorable, right? This drama is so emotional, yet realistic and watching it feels like a healing, right?! Hahahahaha, this is South Korean drama!!!

-The fact that Itaewon Class still ranks #3 on Netflix Japan is crazyㄷㄷㄷ

-I only watched the first episode and then stopped because it's not really my cup of tea. I have to admit that this drama does radiate Japanese drama vibes

-I love you, Youngwooㅜㅜ Please do not buy and remake this drama...

  • if this ranks #1

    and Itaewon Class ranks #3

maybe it's just that Japanese are into girls with such weird haircuts lol?

  • Side eyeing all the passive aggressive comments against J dramas but this show is a gem. Just started it yesterday on a whim but ended up binging all the 4 episodes. Episode 3 made me cry and I am glad they are discussing topics like the public' perception of autism and the loneliness experienced by the caretakers of people on the spectrum. Park Eun Bin is an amazing actress and makes all of Woo Young Woo's mannerisms look so natural. Also, loving all the whale facts.

  • Oooo, is this a lighthearted show? If so, I might check it out.

And the not so subtle shade whenever Japan is mentioned, I don't know why it surprises me every time.

It is not a romcom or anything but there are a lot of nice, funny moments. The characters are super endearing and I think this show does a great job balancing the emotional and lighthearted moments. Definitely worth a try!
