Why is everything the company's fault?

  • I can't think of any other industry where the blame always goes straight to all the companies, without exception. Stans are always crying about incompetence or sabotage, never knowing which one at what point. You'd think all the executives were satan worshippers the way the hate is so strong. It's tantamount to slave labor and exploitation! Those greedy mfers!

Ofc the idols themselves are nothing but angels who are SO talented and working SO hard to please their slave masters.

All they want is a quick way to be rich and famous. Is that too much to ask?

The cognitive dissonance is amazing. If it's so corrupt or mistreatment is so rampant then wtf are any of us actually feeding this industry for? What? If you don't support your faves then they'll be kicked to the curb and they'll have to find "normal" lines of work like everyone else?

We all have our omplaints, but don't you think the constant railing against the companies is a bit much? Like look how successful this industry is. Look at how well the idols are doing, especially this year. Managers can only do so much. The rest is up to the idols. Sometimes when things don't work out, it's not always because the company is corrupt or incompetent. There's a chance it was bad timing or, god forbid, the idols themselves might not have brought enough to the table.

  • You can’t think of any other industry where companies are always blamed because there isn’t another industry like the idol industry. An idol is literally someone made to be worshipped, and companies will control a large part of their image and artistry because that’s how this industry works.

  • depends on the company, if its yg, is actually their fault. If its sm, its the music's fault

  • The companies are to blame for some things, and not for others.

That though, is a stupid comment. Being an idol isn't as simple as showing up to a company's doorstep and telling them you want to join Blackpink or Twice. These idols put in years of blood, sweat and tears in an attempt to be successful. Before they even debut. The percentage that actually do debut is small, and it's even small for those to go on to be truly successful. You need to be among the top 5-10 groups to actually make money.

So I don't think it's entirely unfair for fans to call out the company for poor song or concept choice - especially if the group already has a successful and established identity and sound.
