The 8 dollar one can’t be bulk bought and only one version each person can order. It’s so they can have a billboard record or something. I think the digipak you mean that is being bulk bought is the $12 one (unless there was a store discount deal like ktown digipaks which aren't even half of Karina’s cbar numbers, other stores like SM shop are selling it at 12 dollars).
That being said, it’s unfair to compare to BTS albums because BTS albums are even more expensive than the old albums before discount deals. They’re more expensive than most artists so it’s idiotic to put make these lists comparing the number of sales.

I don't see the big difference in prices especially considering the bts albums had more discount on preoder period and that's how cbars got the record

She sold more than lisa only because those were lisa's 2020 sales. Lisa bar spent more than karina bar for lesser sales. Aespa are selling albums for mediaplay. They are not getting any money for them. That's why sm can't make profits even after their artists selling so much.

SM can't make profits yet they're the second biggest kpop agency as of right now, will probably return to no.1 in some ~40 years

both bpthe album and bts mots7 had 13 dollar versions on ktown
It’s not “SM acts” and more the current industry. Sm acts actually have reasonable prices compared to some 4th groups (not that the groups are that different). All you guys fuss about with aespa is ktown4u sales which is usually a place with huge discounts. BP the album had discounts there as well like $12 standard price. They had expensive versions as well but aepa also has 40+ dollars versions too but everyone ignores that and focuses on cheap vers plus the discount. BP still has reasonable prices though. Ktown4u usually sell for international fans. Have insane discounts but compensates in very expensive shipping. Korean fans even Chinese fans prefer to order from other places because Ktown rep is bad there.
It's funny how lies scalate so fast in kpop forums. Suddenly yg and hybe are the only companies not selling cheap albums when that's been that case since years ago and they proved it this year with lesserafim, txt, ikon and treasure releases. Not even bts and bp are safe, as it can be seen above, j hope solo and bp solos were getting discounts as much as any other kpop act and some of their group albums like MOTS were selling for as much as an aespa photobook
