Yes, OP. There should be a mandatory Korean law that requires K-pop groups to include at least one Southeast Asian or South Asian member.

Look at the hype Dita from Indonesia got when Secret Number debuted and they still are trending on social media thanks to the huge support from Indonesia. Same with Sriya Lenka who will debut with BlackSwan. Even the indian education minister greeted her when she returned to India!

Its better to start a group with buzz and hype from overseas than being nugu in Korea with no international fandom.

I guess that when one kpop member is "different", the group and that artist get hype and stuff.

And articles would be saying stuff like "The first _____ kpop idol" or something.
