JYP had no reason to fear for another Suzy/Miss A scenario in the first place due to the unique build of TWICE as a group

  • Sorta a response to the other TWICE solo career thread, but JYP had nothing to fear for in the first place.

Reason being Suzy, the visual of Miss A, was casted for drama roles early in their career and was very popular right off the jump.

TWICE's natural build of the group already negates all that. Their popular visual members, Tzuyu, Sana, Mina etc. are all mostly foreigners and were never fit for Korean dramas anyway. Even Sana who's very good at Korean would be unlikely to have an acting career in Kdramas.

Some may say Nayeon is a visual, but her unique visuals stand out alot, and do not fit the typical convention.

The other popular "actress of the group" option is Jeongyeon, and she very well may be an actress in the future, but the "tomboyish role" that JYP gave her stunted that right away, and from a popularity perspective, the Miss A situation simply was not likely.

In conclusion, in my opinion, the Suzy/Miss A situation was very unlikely in the first place, and JYP had nothing to fear for.
