Why is Twice still living in dorms?

Their 3rd gen peers that debuted around the same time frame as them are all living separately, specifically the popular ones (blackpink, bts, exo). I’m sure Twice gained a decent amount or even a lot during their early years. They can move if they want to but jype/divison3 is being a control freak just like they are with their insta accounts.

What do you think?

I think they occasionally stay in the dorms, but I know the Korean members also go home to their families a lot.

Momo and Jeongyeon also invested in some real estate years ago. Not sure what happened with that since this was in like 2018.

It might be that the ones who are not from Korea like staying in the dorms because they like being around people. It could also be that they have places, but just don't show it. I know they have shown Nayeon and Jeongyeon's houses outside of the dorms, and we never would have known they were only part-time living in the dorms if not for that. The news also doesn't report things like that unless you buy places for a substantial amount or in a very selective and elite building.

It’s their choice. And the Korean members live with their families most of the time.

To save money ofc. It's expensive to get your own place. Didn't you see what GD had to pay?

Same reason Seventeen are probably, dividing money among many members probably doesn't result in a huge income. And if they do buy real estate (Korean banks are wobbly so people with enough money usually invest in property) they probably rent it out and stay in the dorm where it's cheaper.

i think some groups choose to stay in dorms when they are active, in twice case...always

maybe they genuinely like living together
