  • I. Introduction

    EXOLOGY CHAPTER 1: THE LOST PLANET is the first live album by South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO. The album was released on December 22, 2014 and includes recordings from tour stops in Seoul during EXO's first headlining tour, EXO FROM EXO PLANET #1 - THE LOST PLANET TOUR. It contained live versions of songs from Mama, XOXO, Miracles in December, Growl and Overdose. It also contained new songs for specific members. These live performances were recorded at concerts on May 23 through 25, 2014 at the Seoul Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea.


    The album also includes studio versions of song rearrangements or remixes used on the tour, including "Black Pearl," "Wolf," "Growl" and "Love Love Love." It also included a new song "December, 2014 (The Winter's Tale)."

    The album was released in two versions: regular version and special version.


    II. Commercial Performance

    The album reached #1 on the Korean Gaon Weekly and Monthly Charts, as well as charting at #22 on the Japanese Oricon Album Charts. while the lead single "December, 2014 (The Winter's Tale)" debuted at #1 on the Gaon Weekly Digital Chart and #14 on the U.S. Billboard World Digital Songs chart. It also won two music program awards on M Countdown and Music Bank.
