I. Introduction
"Miracle" is the ninth track on the NCT 2021 Universe all-unit album and was released on December 14, 2021.
NCT collaborates on special albums that include all members and the group's sub-units on a variety of songs. Each of the regular sub-units has its own song, while members also participate in the rotational NCT U unit on specific songs.
WayV is one of the four NCT sub-units, with NCT 127, NCT Dream and NCT U. WayV records in Mandarin, Korean and English. This song is in English and is the only English song on the album.
The song also only features five of the seven WayV members due to hiatuses and competing schedules: rappers Winwin and Lucas do not appear on the song.
The song lyrics reference the past two NCT all-unit albums, Resonance and Empathy. On the last NCT all-unit album, NCT 2020 Resonance, WayV's song was "Nectar." The group was not yet formed on NCT 2018 Empathy. There is also a reference to SM's lore, the SMCU, about "KOSMO."
