I. Introduction
The Vision is the debut release from the permanent NCT sub-unit, WayV. The digital EP was released on January 17, 2019 with the lead single "Regular."
II. Background & Overview
WayV was the fourth NCT sub-unit to debut. NCT is unique among K-Pop groups due to the fact that the concept of NCT is an ever expanding group with "unlimited" members and is comprised of several individual subunits.
The WayV sub-unit represented China and sings primarily in Chinese (Mandarin), as well as songs in Korean and English, bridging a gap between c-pop and kpop.
After a series of teasers about the group, the album title and lead single title were released on January 12. The MV teaser was released on January 16. The EP contains three songs, including 2 Mandarin versions of songs previously recorded by NCT 127 in other languages: "Regular" (Korean and English) and "Come Back" (Korean).
The lead single "Regular" was released on January 17 and a second single "Dream Launch" was released a week later.

"Regular" reached #9 on the QQ chart in China and #3 on the U.S. Billboard World chart. "Dream Launch" reached #15 and #6.
