I. Introduction
Back To You is the first release from the sub unit from the Chinese boy group WayV, which is itself a sub-unit of the boy group NCT.
II. Background & Release
WayV Kun & Xiaojun was announced as a unit on June 10, with an upcoming single release. The members are two of WayV's three main vocalists and the unit has been described by the other vocalist, Ten, as "the ballad unit." This marks the first sub-unit underneath any of the existing NCT sub-units, like a sub-sub unit.
Although the duo was originally supposed to release a single, they said in an interview that because the songs were so good, the decision was made to release multiple songs. This digital single album was released on June 16, 2021 and features 3 songs in Mandarin and English. The duo described the English version of "Back To You" as a gift to WayV's international fans.
The music video featuring the Mandarin version of "Back to You," was released on June 16, however the English version was performed in promotional support on Korean music shows except for The Show. The English version of the music video was released on June 23. A live clip of the other B-side single, "Sleepless" was released on July 13, 2021 as a gift "for WayZenNi".

The title track debuted at #22 on the iTunes Worldwide Song chart, with the title track reaching #1 across 5 countries on the iTunes charts. and #2 on the UK iTunes chart The title track debuted at #16 on the U.S. Billboard World Songs Chart.
