Introduction:
FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE (ファンタスティックス・フロム・エグザイル・トライブ) is a 8-member Japanese male dance and vocal group that consists of: Sekai, Sato Taiki, Sawamoto Natsuki, Seguchi Leiya, Hori Natsuki, Yagi Yusei, Kimura Keito, and Nakajima Sota. Nakao Shota passed away on July 6th due to health problems. They debuted under LDH JAPAN on December 5th, 2018, with Over Drive.

I. History:
**2016**
On December 29, EXILE members Sekai and Sato Taiki, along with five performers from EXPG, were selected to form a new dance group.
**2017**
On January 31, the group was officially announced on the TV show Shuukan EXILE and named FANTASTICS. The unit consisted of seven performers: Sekai, Sato Taiki, and five EXPG students from EXILE GENERATIONS: Sawamoto Natsuki, Seguchi Leiya, Nakao Shota, Hori Natsuki, and Kimura Keito, with Sekai and Sato Taiki as leaders. From February to March, FANTASTICS toured Japan performing publicly for free. On May 15, LDH began a new edition of the VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION to find vocalists for the group. On December 20, VBA5 finalists Yagi Yusei and Nakajima Sota were announced as the vocalists.
**2018**
On March 3, member Nakao Shota revealed he had stomach cancer and would halt his activities for treatment. On April 14, the group began their second Musha Shugyo tour, which continued without Nakao. On May 1, BALLISTIK BOYZ were announced as the opening act. On May 4, FANTASTICS featured on EXILE's digital single "Turn Back Time." Nakao Shota passed away on July 6. On September 15, FANTASTICS was announced as an official EXILE TRIBE group and revealed they would debut on December 5, 2018, with "OVER DRIVE."
**2019**
On April 3, the group released their second single, "Flying Fish." Their third single, "Dear Destiny," was released on August 21. From October 11 to November 21, they held their first hall tour, FANTASTICS SOUND DRAMA 2019 FANTASTIC NINE. On December 4, they released their fourth single, "Time Camera." On December 8, they were revealed to be contributing to the Gundam 40th anniversary project with the theme song "TO THE SKY." The special movie was released on January 1, 2020.
**2020**
On February 12, the group released their first album, FANTASTIC 9. Their arena tour, scheduled from March 28 to July 19, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 1, they released their fifth single, "Hey, darlin'." On April 15, they released their first photobook, FANTASTIC NINE. On July 2, they held their first online live concert. They released their sixth single, "Winding Road ~Mirai e~," on September 23, followed by another online concert on September 24. FANTASTICS participated in several online events throughout the year, releasing their seventh single, "High Fever," on November 11.
**2021**
On March 17, they released the song "Play Back" digitally. From March 19 to June 21, they held their second live tour. They also performed BACK TO THE MEMORIES from April 10 to May 5. On May 19, they released their eighth single, "STOP FOR NOTHING." Their second album, FANTASTIC VOYAGE, was released on August 18. Their third live tour ran from October 28, 2021, to February 22, 2022. On December 15, they released the tribute single "FANTASTICS FROM EXILE."
**2022**
On March 9, they released their ninth single, "Santa Monica Lollipop." From April 1 to May 1, they performed the second part of BACK TO THE MEMORIES. Their variety show Furusato Fanta started airing in April. In May, their drama The Usual Night Itsumo no Yoru began airing. On May 25, they released a live album. Their fourth live tour, FANTASTICS LIVE TOUR 2022 "FAN FAN HOP," ran from June 8 to August 7. On June 29, they released their tenth single, "Escape," followed by their eleventh single, "Summer Bike," on August 24. Their fan meeting event took place on September 20, and they collaborated with GU on promotional campaigns in September and October. Their official fan club opened on November 1. Their twelfth single, "Choo Choo TRAIN," was released on November 16. Their fifth live tour ran from November 2 to December 28. They participated in The 6th Momoiro Uta Gassen on December 31.
**2023**
On January 30, they held an online live concert. Their song "PANORAMA JET" was released digitally on February 10, with the single released on April 19. Their sixth live tour ran from February 15 to May 13. They released their thirteenth single, "PANORAMA JET," on April 19. On June 9, they released the song "Tell Me" digitally, followed by their fourteenth single on August 16. Their arena live concert ran on various dates throughout June, July, and August. Their third season of FUN! FUN! FANTASTICS began airing on June 22. Their song "It's all good" was released digitally on September 22. They were appointed ambassadors for D.LEAGUE's 23-24 Season in October. On December 3, they performed at "D.U.N.K. Showcase in KYOCERA DOME OSAKA." Their third studio album, FANTASTIC ROCKET, was released on December 5. Their song "Update Life" was announced as the opening theme for a 2024 TV drama on December 20. They participated in The 7th Momoiro Uta Gassen on December 31.
**2024**
On March 20, they released the EP Peppermint Yum in collaboration with K-pop group EPEX. Their seventh live tour ran from February 11 to July 15. Their song "Sugar Blood Kiss" was chosen as the opening theme for the anime Vampire Danshi Ryou, airing in April. They released their eighth digital single "Update Life" on February 29. They performed at "The Performance" music festival on April 14. On April 17, they released the live album FANTASTICS ARENA LIVE 2023 "HOP STEP JUMP" LIVE CD. Their song "Break Line" was announced as an insert theme for the 2024 movie Run For Money THE MOVIE. Their fourth season of FUN! FUN! FANTASTICS began airing on July 2. Their song "Yellow Yellow" was chosen as the theme for the movie Yano-kun no Futsuu no Hibi. They released their first mini-album Temporal Transition on July 17.
