III. MUSICAL CONTENT
HAN's 'Wish You Back' was released with the intention to provide a song that imagines an alternate ending to the anime 'Your Name'. The anime originally ends with the main character finding their forgotten lover. However, in 'Wish You Back', HAN puts a twist to the ending of the anime imagining a situation where the main character never finds their lover and is left with a lingering feeling of loneliness. 'Wish You Back' utilizes a light, hopeful melody in combination with distant, scratchy vocals to emulate the feeling of being distanced from a lover you've forgotten but can feel a love for.
