I don't really clash with specific fandoms more like I clash with people who have certain opinions that I don't agree with.

The Report Card Reactions they genuinely like kpop and one of the few channels who take the time and listen to all the albums too.
Rahim is great is your looking for insight on how music is produced. He's German I believe but there are subtitles.
Yeong Yeon Family are a Korean family that react to BTS all the time and they have an adorable baby that loves watching and even has a bias!
Unpopular opinion but I think you should just search BTS reaction and watch them without fear that there fake. I say this because there are so many people who are genuine in their reaction and you'll drive yourself mad if you worry about which one is fake or not. The worst reactor you could come across is someone who genuinely hates kpop as a whole but still reacts to them but other than that enjoy!

Doesn't Naver already have their paws in SM?
SM had Beyond Live with Naver but I'm not sure if its still a thing with Vlive merging into Weverse. One thing I do know is Naver has transferred Vlive over to BH so now BH are majority share holders so we'll see if SM decides to join.
I thought SM and JYP have Bubble or whatever
Bubble is just an app where fans pretend to text idols and get pictures from them daily but its not the same as Weverse since with that platform you actually get to talk to your idols.

since kpop is probably at its most profitable generation, companies are trying to partner up and make more cash.
I agree. For this situation in particular its only CJ ENM and Bighit who are partnering up with companies in an effort to be the biggest platform. CJ ENM has made a lot of deals with companies, and Bighit knew YG was the perfect choice to get on weverse because it would put them further ahead. I'm curious to see which platform will manage to get SM and JYP.

Universe a big platform compared to Weverse?
I haven't heard much but probably when Mnet start Girls Planet 999, it may become huge.
It just started out and still in preregister stage but has the potential as they have lots of groups on it like Monsta X, Ateez, (G)idle, I*zone and much more. Think how big it would've been if YG got on Universe, but BH were able to partner with then instead.

BH only made deal with YG Plus which YG ENT only owns 38% of it and BH bought 18% of the shares so both getting a cut of the album sales.

I think since RM's speech they have banned ? Anyways BH probably need more reliable distributor I think.
I thought his speech only affected Samsung stuff and other merch in China not the albums.

With Universe a direct competitor to Weverse coming via CJ ENM it'd be wise to get as many companies on your side as possible . So I'm guessing they wanted YG on board with them and figured the best thing YG could offer is distribution and the best thing BH could offer was Weverse and other promotions.
China distribution could a be a thing too but weren't BH already getting albums to China?

it's BH who buys
Not really getting it but okay

Correction BH buys
BH buys what?

Lmao BTS buys 3 very small companies one of them being Source Music who they've been close with since the start and invest in YG and suddenly its "Bighit is creating a monopoly" yall need a dictionary I swear.

The fact that fandoms are fighting over this vague ass statement is ridiculous. We have no details so people are assuming and making stuff up to triggers the other side.
Big Hit, BNX, and YG PLUS agreed to lay the foundation for strategic collaboration through this investment, and to cooperate in various business areas that each company is developing, including platforms, distribution, and contents. Accordingly, YG PLUS's artist global membership-related business will be developed through Weverse, and YG PLUS will collaborate with Big Hit's album and music distribution and MD business.
Each company plans to create synergy by utilizing various artist IPs in a wide range of business sectors covering the entertainment lifestyle field, including platform business for expanding fan experience.

what is Weverse?
Its like a fan cafe where fans can interact with idols. It started off as BTS only but has quickly expanded so now they're are a lot of artist on the app including an American girl.

The closest BTS and BP will get is being on the same app lmao!
