and both parties are pro-war to their very core. it's an old meme so change "yes, we can" to whatever the current slogan is and it works perfectly
Real shit right here. The Democratic party is nothing but performative activism because at the end of the day they uphold the same shitty policies as Republicans. Their bullshit appeals to the dipshits who spend their entire day posting on social media so more power to them I guess.
People cancelling this entire group and ruining their careers over accusations which are backed up by zero legitimate evidence. People think they know what's going on because they watched some old video where one member made a silly face at another. This is basically the world in 2021. This girl could be lying through her teeth for all anyone knows. Does no one remember how Hwayoung ruined T-ARA and later turned out to be completely full of shit?
All of east asia is going extinct. Same as Europe. Japan's birth rate crisis is well documented and now some estimates say that China is going to lose half of its population by 2100 due to low birthrates. This will lead to all sorts of economic issues partly due to how many elderly people there will be. Eventually you'll have to allow immigration to offset the lack of young people.
BLM as an organization was always a scam to make a handful of people tons of money. They should be ashamed for making people think the money was going towards a righteous cause.
I think the far right is pushing China as an enemy because it is the one non-white nation with any sort of power in the world.
They want a race war so OF COURSE Asian-Americans will be targeted. Japan in the 1980s was treated the same way. Read up on Vincent Chin. He was Chinese-American but two white autoworkers killed him in Detroit because they thought he was Japanese and the "Japs" are economic enemies stealing American jobs. They were let go with a slap on the wrist for that murder.

I find it incredulous that all the Uighur genocide accusations are coming from Western countries like the US, Australia and Canada (who had committed actual genocide of the original inhabitants.) But not from muslim nations. In fact, China has just signed a trade treaty with Iran.

So you're saying people don't like China due to racist right wing propaganda? If that's the case then how do you explain almost every country in asia hating China? Go ask Korea, Japan, Vietnam, India, etc how they feel about China. You'll find the same anti-chinese sentiment almost everywhere.
somebody explain to me how is it possible that in a country with a population of 330+ million trump and biden were the best presidential candidates? out of all the people they were the best they could do? i will never get it. poor guy. and this isn't the first time. he's just too old for this position.
It's not age as much as it is Biden being demented. Sanders is old too but he still has his mind. On the left you can only get elected if you are a part of the establishment. All of the mainstream liberal networks go out of their way to attack and discredit any left wing candidates who aren't a part of the establishment. Every liberal news outlet spent the entirety of Trump's presidency slandering Sanders and taking every chance they could to discredit him. They painted him as a bad candidate who couldn't possibly defeat Trump. They've been doing the same thing to other progressive politicians like AOC as well. Basically anyone who deviates from their agenda is painted in a bad light while establishment politicians like Biden and Hillary's failings are constantly excused. Liberal networks like CNN and MSNBC don't even try to hide their anti-progressive bias.
His approach to this is actually a bad career move. He should have told them to fuck off and quit to become a full time streamer. His view count was solid and he'd be making more money than he does as an idol if he were actually allowed to monetize his content. He must really have a passion for music.
Unfortunately a lot of people only believe what they can see. One problem is asians are barely visible in parts of the USA. Almost half of the entire asian population lives in three states. Asians only make up 5% or more of the population in 15 US states. If you go to the south or midwest there are very few asians and even then only in certain areas.
The problem with these types of attacks is people are only concerned about the identity of the people who commit the attacks so they can take some sort of moral high ground. When it was mostly black men committing attacks against asians right wing media was having a field day pushing the narrative that black people hate asians. Now that it's a white man the left wing media is doing the exact same thing. Noone actually gives a fuck about the dead. They just see it as opportunity to push their own personal agenda of why *insert group* is bad. No one ever actually offers up any solutions on how to stop future attacks. Biden has a majority in every part of government and I guarantee you won't see any sort of meaningful gun control measures because of this attack. This is the reality of America. We point fingers on social media but never take any meaningful actions.
April is one of my favorite groups but I feel like we'll never see them again after this. It's a shame because it took them so long to gain any sort of success.
This has happened in all sorts of things throughout history. I don't imagine it'd be any different in k-pop. Especially considering it's an industry where the amount of workyou put in does not really translate to success. I'm sure there's more than a little resentment towards the many talentless visuals who have gotten every opportunity in the world while everyone else gets left behind. Would you be mad if some talentless visual got pushed over you simply because they were better looking? I'm going to say probably.
black on asian crime is a major problem in America and has been ignored since forever. whenever it does get brought up there is always some horse shit justification for why it happened. either that or people are too afraid to call it out at all.
Yeah I think the thing with cultural appropriation in some cases is that they use the culture because they think it makes them look cooler but then they also mock people of that culture
Or people generally mock people of that culture but then when a white person uses some parts of that culture (for example) some people praise them, etc.
This last part never happens though and I have never understood where the idea came from. See what kind of reaction a white person gets on twitter if they so much as wear braids in their hair. Where is this positive reaction you're talking about coming from?
Some would say i'm arguing semantics but that is a Wehrmacht uniform. It's kind of in bad taste but I don't feel like it's the same as posing with a mannequin dressed as Hitler or as an SS officer.
It's an American boomer mentality that a lot of younger people have unfortunately picked up on. Back in the day boomers made way more money and everything was way cheaper which enabled them to move out at a younger age. Something that isn't possible for most people now as evidenced by statistics.
They are entitled to do what they want to do. Life is a choice, and you have no right to tell them what to do. STFU and, mind your own faves. Blinks are fine and stop the fake concern, they dont need your fake concern
People who live vicariously through other people's achievements are objectively losers. Particularly when it's done to the extreme that many k-pop fans take it to. In psychology it's a sign of low self esteem and a low sense of self worth. Tweeting out the sales numbers of a group 100 times a day when that group doesn't even know you exist is not healthy.
