Kakao m doesn't 2ant Spotify play the songs in Korea, at the same time kakaoM wants to have the license for the songs to be distributed internationally through Spotify..

N on the other hand its good if other artist come out of kakom n use other distribution labels in Korea.. As melon didn't artist the streaming amount.. N has debt of 10 million dollars n also their ceo in Jail..this has been going on since 2018..whuch is y sm, JYP, BH created dreamus n had their rights with themselves

The problem with Spotify n kakao m is..

Kakao M wants to distribute kpop song rights internationally but not in Korea..means all these days before when Spotify was launched, the agreement was songs under kakao will remain in melon in Korea, but they will be under Spotify for the rest of the well..

As Spotify was seen as threat to melon by Kakao m n they didn't want to loose streams as Spotify is a free n premium service. But melon is a paid service..

Hence sm, JYP, BH, like licensed their music under DREAM US n released songs under melon, genie, Flo for the past two years..

Now when Spotify enters they have mutual contracts..

Coming to bighit n yg plus..

Bighit is the investor here, n the talks were for merchandise distribution as far as I heard... N bts songs not affected by this Spotify kakaom fiasco has nothing to do with ygplus as BTS N TXT were never under kakaoM since 2018..so even if BH didn't invest in ygplus, their songs in Spotify won't be affected by this prob..

I don't think kpop singers are trying to be Mariah Carrey.. But on the other hand kpop rappers are definitely trying to be western rappers.. Styling, flow jacking, hand gestures, n in khiphop they blalant ly copy what hiphop stars do, like a Bad imitation of actual western rappers..

Bighit has BTS. That's enough.
