I don't think Frank Ocean is directly criticizing islam or muslims, more religion as a whole and how it treats homosexuals (even then that's not the main meaning of the song, more like an underlying theme), but even if he was, who cares? It's his right to criticize any religion, and Islam shouldn't be free from that (just like christianity, buddhism, judaism, hinduism etc). This notion that religion can't or shouldn't be criticized and that doing so would be hateful towards that religion or religious people is idiotic.
