Def gonna be one of the new top tourist spots in Korea. I visited Korea last year but totally missed this place opening. Gonna have to make sure it's on my list if I go back next year.

Yep, through watching Kdramas helped me learn some Korean phrases and their expressions.

That video about the darker side of Korea was pretty eye-opening. I had no idea suicide rates were so high there. It must be a lot of stress with school and jobs. Thanks for sharing though, it's good to learn both sides of a culture. Makes me appreciate what we have here too. Always interesting getting new perspectives beyond what the media usually shows.
RIIZE is definitely having great success for a newer group! Their long-lasting popularity on the charts is really impressive. While it's still early, they seem positioned well to be one of the top 4th gen bgs. I'm looking forward to seeing how they continue developing their musical style and fanbase. yeah I think I've seen some of those lunch plate videos on YouTube too! The ones where they plate up cute little side dishes and everything looks so colorful and delicious haha. It is kinda random but I guess food videos can be soothing to watch? Or maybe people just find it interesting to see what Koreans eat everyday. Do you know if those channels became viral because foreigners were curious? Anyway, thanks for bringing it up - now I'm kinda craving some Korean lunch myself haha!
Yeah, I've definitely noticed some fans take the idol-babying thing a bit far sometimes. It is kinda weird to see grown idols still referred to that way after so many years.
gotta let the "babies" grow up at some point, you know? I'm sure the idols find it strange too.
At the same time though, I get where some of the protectiveness comes from. These companies do cultivate really innocent public images early on. And streaming culture can get pretty intense/toxic nowadays too.
Anyway, as long as fans still respect the idols as professionals first and foremost, I don't think the affectionate nicknames necessarily cross a line.

That's a good point. Jk doesn't seem like the type to do just a magazine spread. Jeff Ben probably knows something we don't too. Any ideas what other kind of content it could be? Music video maybe? Or another variety show episode would make sense. Hopefully we find out more soon! This next month before enlistment is sure to be busy for them.
I haven't seen Ditto yet but the casting does look great. Cho Yi Hyun and Yeo Jin Goo are always phenomenal. How was the chemistry between the leads? Also, were you a fan of the time transcending element or did it get too confusing? Might have to check this one out soon based on your recommendation!
I actually saw a poll posted recently about which KPOP group is Best in 2023 and Red Velvet was getting more votes. It makes sense from what you guys were saying - while Twice had a huge peak, Red Velvet has stayed relatively consistent with the public over many years now.
