I never said they cannot dance, I said comparing them to their peers who had better skill in that department, I would not put them within top 5. It's the same as saying Newjeans or H1key can sing, but I wouldn't put them within top 5 if MMM is at the helm, since we got so many other amazing singers.

I feel that being a fan, we should be realistic and at least we look at the strength and weakness of our idols and evaluate it honestly. If your idols cannot dance or sing, encouraged them via feedback, and if they are real artist they will take that seriously and improve. Aespa were getting egged on during debut because they weren't synchronized, and recent concert should tell they took it seriously and improved tremendously. MMM chose an intense dance choreography for HIP because they heard fans were saying they don't have any intense dancing in their song. Real artist take feedbacks and make something out of it, as fan the least we can do is be honest with them. Babying your artist would not help them improve.

Wheein is a great dancer, she learns choreography super fast. Lia Kim and Mina Young can attest to that. Hwasa is a great performer, her aura onstage is insane. Again, I never said MMM cannot dance, Im saying comparing their choreography and dance skill to their peers, they would not be on top.

That's why I specially separated the 2 types of performers.

1) Playing the stage means you have the aura and charismas to commend the audience to your bidding. doing adlibs and just feel the music. Psy is amazing at it. BB is great. This is where MMM is.

2) Great at choreography is to dance from point A to point B. The example from Shinee shows that. Minho took the stage, dancers backed him up, then Taemin took the stage and did his thing. It's choreographic, its formations, dance intense and rehearsed.

I think it was a surprisingly good song? I didn't have expectation for Tzuyu as she's not known vocally, so I assumed it'll be alot of beats to masks her vocals and repeated short-lines of fillers to hide the weakness of vocals. However, the first 30 seconds were great, out of expectation really, when she keep those notes running.

And is it just me or does Run Away somehow reminds you of a faster beat of Cutting Crew: I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight? Is it the beat? the melody? the rhythm?? The mellow MV?

Losing Sleep and Fly in her album are great songs. I like those 2. She's very pretty, but I feel like she should work on her facial expression because she's like Cha Eun Woo of acting.

So I guess the definition of best performers are 2 things based on the replies:

1) Play the stage and interactions with audience

2) Really good choreography and dancing

So if we purely talking about number 1, I think BB would be correct. Unless there are other BG out there who does the same? If we talk about number 2, there are alot more others; EXO, BTS, Shinee, DBSK, Im sure fangirls can name more. A set of choreography is means to move here, move there, dance here, dance there. Any BG can duplicate, name one who can't. But to adlib, move freely and to just mic-in-hand do whatever you want, I think it's different. It's what rapper do mostly, since they cannot dance. They play the audience. It's more free, non-rehearsed.

Mamamoo is great at live singing, but I don't think their choreography are great compare to their peers. Red Velvet is great in both. Some GG excels in dance but not vocal and vice versa. If we're talking about 1, I maybe agree with MMM. But with 2, I won't put MMM within the top 5 lol.

Are there any teasers in which the girls sing or dance? It'll be a better way to gauge if they are at least singers? Unless Teddy is going the autotune route?

I know there are jokes that BP is Instagram models since they don't release as much music. But I think Teddy is seriously considered this and debuted MEOVV?

I think majority of the time, a 'best of' list are usually in a form of "most popular or the most influential"- hence the most favorable to the GP; to create buzz or to market something. It's fun to discuss. However, I think the first list seems fair enough. BTS achievements are extraordinary. I don't think there will ever be any boy group having that much success and achievements as them. Give credits when it is due. They can be a legend in their own rights. Just as there will never be a female soloist coming for IU. She's just too far above.

Others on the list are legends too, having more than 1 legend doesn't discredit their predecessors.

I think you might of been reading into too much of the 'best singer' title. Lol. Because if it was actually "national best singer", the people on those list needs to go to back of the line, as there's no mention of "Kim, Na, Park, Lee".

I think its a good "bounce-back" re-debut song. It's not bad at all.
