As a fan of all 3 groups it gets tiring seeing LSF get attacked for something that's not their fault. It was never about the Coachella performance and they used that as a gateway to attack the group. They've also improved their performances but people don't care about that.

For NewJeans it was crazy that people were attacking Hanni for standing up for herself. This all lead to the current Hybe investigation that shows she was telling the truth.

Aespa is in a good place right now

It's sad that company stans have taken over kpop discourse because none of the current hate trains make any sense.

It's interesting that kpop introduced me to Laufey. I didn't know much about her or her music until she did a TikTok with Yunjin. Then decided to check her out

Minji's cover is good. Her voice is pleasant

Agreed that they chose the wrong song for a title track. Things might have been better for them if they went with this as the title track instead of Memem. The Memem mini album has a lot of good b-sides on it.

I enjoyed this more than Icy Thang. I will have to check the other song on their digital single

Why doesn't YG make the girls sing more? I have seen clips where they might have the best vocalist for a new group, but it seems none of their title tracks and pre-releases showcases their skills. I might be wrong, but they need to go back to the drawing board with this group because music doesn't suit them imo.

They're a sick company. I know not to blame the idols, but playing nice with idols after starting hate campaigns against them is sick.

True, they were most likely aiming to stall their growth after getting a hit song. Most likely thought it would have worked due to LSF being hot at the time and Hybe's marketing to back them. I don't think they predicted Idle to take off like they did. I guess they were banking on Queencard possibly being bigger than the group itself. Luckily, it didn't phase them knowing all of the dirty tactics Hybe uses

At the time it wasn't that crazy. Idle wasn't that popular like they are today. Their first OT5 album sold around 350k, and LSF's debut sold around 600k. At the time it wouldn't matter much since LSF was the much bigger group at the time. At the time it would be in reverse about Idle releasing the same day as LSF.

I didn't like Gold. I wish this was the title track instead

They've been on fire this year. I just wish they had their comeback a week before Apt because that will block some of achievements. End of the day, that doesn't matter much since it's a hit.

They don't care about that. This is all about ego and not having a hand in creating NewJeans. If they created NewJeans, then they wouldn't want to discard them. Le Sserafim is their creation is the reason why they want them to be the main girl group

Wow, there's no Idle without Soyeon. I am scared they won't be able to perform their music because I assume Cube owns them. Each members have a shot at having successful solo careers, but this sucks if this is it.

Unsure how Cube will survive this because they neglected Lightsum. They have to pray their new GG has a strong debut

I don't think company image matters too much because time will heal their current wounds. They just need to make good music and groups, and a lot of this mess will be brushed aside. Both YG and SM did shady things in the past, and that didn't stop them from having the biggest groups in kpop

They did say they want to take out the k in k-pop
