With the legal analysis update, I’d say HYBE has the upper hand because of ownership and contractual rights. Also if they can prove she violated confidentiality agreements, which is usually embedded in upper management employment contracts, she really doesn’t stand a chance to keep her position.

I don’t think we should take that as the members have spoken or that it’s their official answer. MHJ just said she informed NJ and their parents about her statement before issuing it when the news all broke out. It could be about supporting her clarifications and not the entire mess re independence. However, if the girls do clarify soon and choose MHJ - then we’ll know.
Hence I keep on saying I hope NJ and parents also got their own lawyers to look out for their best interest in this conflict between MHJ and HYBE.

Oh I just read up on T-ara case and yikes - a sociopath idol!
-
Actually T-ara was before I followed KPOP so let me go learn

Not surprise re MHJ not returning the laptop but it does show a bit more into her intentions and it’s in contrast to the VP guy and other staff that turned theirs in. She keeps on saying she had no intention to go independent — but yet she’s not cooperating at all with them - it also doesn’t align with her statement.
-
I really hope the NJ girls and parents have their own lawyers to lookout for their best interest.
MHJ made less than the NJ girls and her wanting more $ and control can def be a motive for going independent and causing all this.

In this note her song with Yuqi was very good!

Yes. They deserve praise for creating a situation where teenagers are being dragged to hell instead of handling it privately
In one of the later updates in the mega thread, it said HYBE tried to resolve it internally but couldn’t and both sides continued until this… but not - let’s wait to see but yah, the idea would have been if they could resolved internally on this note -
It’s common to see corporate shakeup get messy especially when big egos are involved.

Please I hope journalist don’t hound the NJ members and family and they should all not say anything until they get their own lawyers and wait for more info.!
-
I think a third party no ties to either BPD or CEO Min should privately discuss with the NJ girls and maybe their families. The girls should have a say in their fate without any outside pressures. Everyone deserves to be happy
This. I like the girls and their music but I don’t like MHJ. We don’t know if they had the chance to get the data from all sides and making an INFORMED decision first to stay or go with MHJ. I will let them decide even if I don’t like MHJ but it would leave me feeling sad because I don’t things would be the same if they choose her after all of this. I would like them to stay in HYBE and continue on.

He was head of IR at Hybe. His job is all around connections. I can’t imagine it was anything other than finding investors
Playing devils advocate though, there is nothing inherently wrong or illegal with preparing for or looking at divestment options. Companies that get bought and then feel like the synergies aren’t there or they’re being taken on the wrong path, will look for investment to try and buy shares and take (back) ownership. Will be the same for a newly created sub with its own leadership.
That’s not abnormal in itself at all therefore I’m curious to know what was actually on that document
MHJ clearly wanted to move NJ out of Hybe whether now or a few years down the line, and there is nothing wrong with that for it to be a sticking point. The bigger question is the how and whether to come up with their options, they used illegal means
The implied illegal activities so far seems to be taking confidential documents about HYBE’s structure, financials, and some data about idols, without their consent and sharing it with potential investors. Also a breach of contract of course, surely in the current contract there had to be a no ‘conflict of interest’ and/or privacy data confidentiality clause.

but it seems like the great mhj according to her meaning is doing the plagiarizing herself. its basically like a thief calling others a thief😂

From the styling to many of the scenes in “Body & Soul,” netizens strongly agreed that it was suspiciously similar to “Attention,” counter-accusing Min Hee Jin of “plagiarizing” SPEED.
I love that Knetizens know of Speed

So excited to have Jin back!!

I did not miss much I see.
Re the HYBE vs Kaokao/SM the legal firms - yes, HYBE lost the takeover but since then it’s been proven with arrests that illegal activities occurred during this process by Kaokao/SM. And MHJ hires the same firm that handled Kaokao/SM - interesting.
Re the MHJ sending staff to document evidence of plagiarism by other groups - surely there are paper trails from this too.

Carry on friends - it’s time I go to zzzz.

If they really can only blame Mr A. for everything then it shouldn't be difficult for MHJ to answer the audit questionaire. Should be easy to give straightfoward answers about the truth. However if there is more to it and MHJ is involved, then of course she cannot honestly answer the audit questionaire. If she answers that honestly it's an immmediate confession, but if she lies on it and Hybe catches her out on it, then she's liable for even more legal troubles. Any lawyer in that case would advise her to not touch the audit questionaire in any way.
Also read that the logs of Mr A reports were written on the 23rd and 29th of March. I'll try to make a timeline later today of all significant events mentioned so far to see where we're at
Great points. So let’s see if MHJ answers the audit questionnaire or not - that can be an indicator.

I don’t remember Source’s financial status during the Gfriend era vs prepping LSRFM after the restructure - will have to go look into it.
-
If she left Source in ruins, why they hell would they let her run another label and debut a group? That makes no sense
I think Source was in bad shape and in the corporate restructuring at the time, MHJ had a say in how it goes and took Source’s old resources and then HYBE added more personnel to Source to replace the ones she took. Not that she ruined Source etc.
