I think it was more of a strategy to get Hybe to agree to negotiate. Since hybe since the beginning of the case they said they would go through with it and have no mercy on anyone. Plus the firm wanted to settle this internally but Hybe ignored them. So I think the whole threatening to release documents and everything was done in an effort to get attention and from Hybe seeing their intent from the start was to deal with. Maybe they figured hybe would negotiate right away without disclosing the molka.
They never wanted to go to trial négocier .

True they were minor. I forgot that point in regards to criminal thing.
However, it makes no sense that they would give harsh punishment to Garam and let Eunseo transfer with no record because remember, school transfers don't happen immediately. You have to request transfer and the school has to send over records to the new school. You can't just up and quit. Also, from my understanding, the school could have held a joint committee with the other school. And the committee had been held before the transfer, which means the sides would have presented their stories to the committee. Finally, yes the schools do care about reputation and shit, which further creates the question as to why school gave Garam a degree 5 punishment when the complainant had already transferred before the decision was made? They could have just let it go or given something lesser.
That's why I think this school needs to be investigated. Even if the two parties reach an agreement in my opinion they must investigate the school because what is going on there is weird.

The male student who filmed illegally is none other than someone attending the same elementary school as her in 6th grade B.
6th grade. Wow. That's like 12 years old. When I was 12, I was still too busy with cartoons. What is wrong with these kids?
Yeah, there's really something wrong with this kids. Me at 12, I didn't even have a phone and we weren't even allowed to at school.pasted-from-clipboard.png

The statement was on Friday. The talks confirmed yesterday. If the contact was made over the weekend or Monday, it would make sense. It's a waiting game. It is possible that the talks might fall through and we do eventually get a statement. Personally, I think HYBE made a perfect PR move. Statement right before the weekend. Cast doubt on the victim. Engaged in talks now, while people do what they do best. Take words as facts and run with it. Of course, we have to consider that HYBE might be telling the truth, in which case Garam sure was punished unjustly and her family silently accepted that.
But they work on Saturdays, don't they? Even if hybe reached out to them why didn't they deny it on Friday time to make a second statement like hybe did? Then the statement harms the time customer who has been harassed online why let it go on knowing that it could impact the "victim". They don't even have to do what they said they would just deny. I mean for their reputation and that of their client shouldn't they be doing this? Because if there is an agreement a lot of people will start saying that they have been given money.

A new story on pann. The boy only got 3 hours of volunteer work for molka These school committees are useless
I think it is especially on these school committees that they must investigate.

Why do people keep randomly speaking french?
My browser is in French and so it automatically translated the whole page into French. Each time I have to settle this before answering otherwise it will be triggered automatically.

Same. Molka is also a criminal offense. Maybe, HYBE's narrative isn't quite right. Anyone can see that they are using that detail to minimize the negative impact of the degree 5 punishment. I do think maybe the friend is in the photo but it's not as bad or as noticeable and definitely not as malicious as implied in HYBE's statement. That's the only reason I can think of for Eunseo avoiding punishment based on my research about the punishment system.
This is why I also wonder why the law firm did not react and denied the facts immediately because these are serious accusations.

Yeah, I think I was pointing that out because the Twitter thread posted was a very one-sided analysis.
I don't know how they are going to solve this problem but if they don't give a single version on which they agree I don't see how online harassment from anonymous third parties can stop on both sides.

Another accuser?
Yes according to him?

I think it's comparing apples and oranges. The law firm explained their position as to why they are making the public statement and concentrated on the events that led them to do so. HYBE's statement focused on providing an explanation for the most damaging thing to Garam in all of this, that is, the degree 5 punishment. The law firm has not made any response to that because they are engaged in discussions with HYBE. As we don't know the content of these discussion or the specifics to who contacted who & when and neither are we privy to any evidence that confirms the sequence of events narrated by HYBE, no one side is trustworthy to me. Someone can choose to believe HYBE's words and make judgments but that is a subjective opinion, me thinks.
In fact you said that hybe had not denied what the law firm had said that's what I was answering by saying that the firm did not give details so there was not much to deny. Since their statement was rather focused as you said on the reasons that led them to make a statement with the online harassment among other things that Eunseo suffered. But they didn't explain the facts, that's why I don't see what there was to deny in their statement.

Proves the accuser was in or close to the group and thus garam.
It's not proof that she truly did it, but it does suggest a closeness of people putting these rumors out.
Ok I see. But haven't both sides already acknowledged that they were once close? I don't remember if the law firm specified it but I think hybe said they were close for 2 months.

What is this photo supposed to prove?
