Cultural perspectives also are important here. Korea like most asian countries is a collectivist society and all these idols are raised that way. So even if it is a non-issue scandal, if it is bringing damage to the group, I think its understandable for the idol to be apologetic about the whole situation even if its not their fault.

The original title track from this comeback is Miracles in December which was actually a hit, but I feel like it never aged well to become a holiday hit as it's more like a romantic song instead of a classic Christmas tune which tend to be light-hearted and more upbeat

Originally First Snow was a song that used to rise during November when Korea experienced their first winter snow, but dropped the charts afterwards. In the last 3 years though the song started to show impressive resilience on Korean charts until it finally hit the Tik Tok challenges and became the official Korean Christmas hit song this year
Yess Miracles in December is my favorite song in the album but it is a true winter heartbreak anthem and not festive like the First Snow.
D.O. singing the intro of First Snow in 2018 went viral and also helped a bit with the charting.
