these companies are worth millions, of course they will put money into their music release promo. it doesn’t mean all of the success was due to promo, but promo by the company definitely kickstarted it- like it does with all songs. these days, you won’t find any artists from any big entertainment companies who don’t have at least hundreds of thousands of dollars going toward promo of their song. 100% organic song growth is like, nonexistent nowadays. (at least when talking about big artists) so i can’t see YG doing anything differently than everyone else…
