i saw lightsum is new gg from gidle's company who are debuting with cute concept.

If lightsum's debut is a massive hit and cube feels that they can push them as the company's main group then cube would dump gidle because of on going controversy and they will start getting side group treatment with bare minimum attention.

But if lightsum's debut flops then that will be a good news for gidle because then cube would have no other option than to put all their effort and attention in saving gidle because that's all they have since their other groups are not doing that well.
