the sudden move to unlisted bh music make sense now. the more I read on this merge, the more I am glad about bh music being unlisted and remain as independent comp under hybe. scooter wont have any say about bts this way.

from what i understand, they bought scooter's company which mean they are under hybe now. as long as hybe are on top of the chain not the other way around, i'm fine. i'm here for bts anyway. could care less about the company structure and all

actually the vpn part was about hbo max since the service is only available in the us for now and I think it will take about months or years before it will be accessible worlwide. so if hbo got the exclusive rights for bts contents, i just hope it is for us distribution only or else us non-US fans will have to resort to use vpn for access. thats my main concern about this move.

it's just an ost for japanese film. obviously targeting the japanese market and chart. charting everywhere else is a bonus and what army want to do for them.

The ideal situation is hbo max for us distribution and weverse/vlive for other countries. But the rights to bts exclusive contents things bothers me. I just dont have the patience going through vpn or illegal links every 5 seconds to watch their contents.

as someone who's here from end of 1st gen, i dont understand the obsession of needing the newer kpop fans to learn the complete history of kpop. People love to use the "it's not that deep, it's kpop" in argument but watch them lose their shit when people don't know their 2nd gen faves.

i was up for a new phone when I saw yoongi using samsung's phone (that was way before they sign the contract as their brand ambassador) basically change half of my ecosystem (except for mac and ipad) to samsung's because i saw him using the galaxy buds and thinking how that looks more comfortable than airpod.
