Yeah I definitely relate to this. Growing up I got comments like, "oh you need to eat more" or "do you even eat?". It's just people being rude and making assumptions about your personal life. Some people can even struggle to gain weight, and I don't think some realize that. I just wish these people would be more mindful...

Either people are jealous or are looking for a reason to complain Nothing new here.
Still, this along with the people getting legit angry over her having English songs. It's so nonsense.
Regardless, lots of people are enjoying her solo debut so I'm really happy Rose is getting a much more positive reaction overall. Some people need to shut up though.

Yeahhh I just don't think I would be comfortable with controlling people haha.
Reading people's minds could be useful when navigating social situations though.

True. I can't give my opinion on what open relationships feels like since I've never been in one. I can only say what I think it will feel like. But that doesn't have to be the truth. When it does happen, it might feel completely different.
Yup, and that's perfectly fine. Regardless of what kinds of relationships you have in the future, I wish you the best!

I think the problem is me getting obsessed with a man. So in an open relationship, if I sleep with other men, it might make me less obsessed with just one person.
Everytime I enter a relationship it feels like I'm inside a bubble.
Yeah I guess I can understand. I think the best you can do is to be as communicative as possible. That helps mitigate a lot of issues. And be sure to give yourself your own space and time away from your partner to catch breaks and rejuvenate.
Just, don't go into open relationships thinking it will be key to all your problems because that also needs plenty of communication and care as well. All types of relationships have their own sets of problems.

Yeah I think that's more of an insecurity issue than an open vs. closed relationship issue. In a healthy, stable closed relationship, you both should be able to trust each other enough to not cheat. You should be able to trust and communicate with each other strongly.
I personally don't have any issue with open relationships as long as all parties are consenting and aware. I'm not sure if I'd do it myself though.

For me personally, it's fun to see artists go solo to see their own individual flavor and direction on full display. To the extent tho, I can see people wanting artists to go solo regardless of whether or not they are fit for it. Though, even if some artists aren't as good solo doesn't mean they can't go solo at all. Like artists are definitely capable of growing into better solo artists so I think if an artist really wants to go solo, I would want to encourage that and help them grow.
Songwriting isn't a big deal in the current landscape. There are a lot of popular solo artists in the west for example who use ghostwriting so it doesn't matter whether or not the artist writes their own songs. I personally don't care as long as whomever the lyricist is, comes up with good lyrics.

its not about taste...its about quality
Okay, and what exactly determines quality?
-
Just accept that people have different music tastes

Burn it Up legit shook me. I didn't actually start being a fan until way later, but yeah that song holds a special place for me

You know, I'm kind of curious how the rise of streaming plays into this. I'm speaking from personal experience, but I think a lot of people can relate. Growing up, the songs I heard was what everyone else listened to. And we all heard these songs over and over again on the radio, so naturally, a lot of pop songs from the early-mid 2000s have stuck with me because of the exposure.
Nowadays, people don't do radio and just stream stuff. You have more control over what exactly you want to listen to. So maybe if you had to listen to newer kpop songs over and over, they would stick with you better.
Still, I do think taste and experience play the largest part in this so like to some people, new kpop songs might stick with them while for others it won't. It's just how it is.

It really depends on my mood because I am not consistent.
Some days I go goth/punk.

Or other days where I like floral/pastel things.
