I was watching the DKDK video and they talked about this. The industry speculation according to them was:

• Some of the girls did not like the change in musical direction. They preferred their old music direction.

• Some of the girls are just done with the K-Pop lifestyle. That they did it and now it’s time for change.

The industry insiders did say it’s one of the cleanest break ups they seen between the group and label. There is no bad blood etc. It was just time.

Whatever happened to the story of family members of Big Bang who went on Twitter to mock BTS after that award ceremony screwed up? I would like to see their thoughts now.

Probably similar to stations on Apple Music. A Big Hit station will probably have members from the groups come in and guest DJ and play their favorite songs

Is it possible that GFriend didn’t want to be in the shadow of BTS and BH? Obvious they are separate companies but we know people will attach any kind of success they may have in the future back to BH.
