TVXQ has a lot of songs too. I will not be the one counting, though.

I do hope she releases her album. I hope she feels freer to date if she want. Thankfully, the "controversy" died quickly, so it shows people are not caring that much.
P.S.: OP has been banned

The "not shy, not me, itzyyyyyyyy" gets stuck in my head from time to time. In overall, I think it is a good song. I understand that some people may be off-put by the "itzy" thing, but it's something new groups do so their name gets stuck in our head. "Blackpink" in Boombayah, "Treasure" in My Treasure, "Aespa" in Black Mamba, "Mamamoo" in Mr. Ambiguous, etc.

2020 was a singular year for many industries. In my opinion, what's holding back "4th" generation groups from booming are the current 3rd generation groups. K-pop is a niche. After they phase out, 4th generation groups will be free to grow. And we still don't know if the major 3rd generation groups will disband soon or not.
But this industry has always been about the big ones. That are many small and unknown groups that will never see the light of the day. 76 debuts in 2020. No way all 76 can become famous.

Red Velvet and Mamamoo. Vocals and musicality are everything for me. Also, RnB and Retro is life. Sorry other ReVeluvs, but Velvet is the way to go.
People always exclude soloists, so I will put IU and Taeyeon here too for the same reason: voice and musicality are everything for me.

For me, it's not 100% about the music, but the music is the main reason. If I didn't like the music, I would be listening to something else. I listen to the artists I listen to because I can't easily find something similar elsewhere.
I only "stan" groups that are musically pleasant to me. I have watched entertainment videos of groups I don't stan and, although I enjoyed them, I couldn't bond with them because I didn't enjoy their music. I still think that the music is the main part and if I can't enjoy their music, I can't consider myself a stan. I can still feel happy for them as a person, but no as an idol.
But I do agree that the parasocial interactions is an important feature of K-pop and is something you can't find easily elsewhere. I have listened to J-pop and J-rock before K-pop and there's zero interaction outside of Japan. Western artist don't interact much either.
When I got into K-pop the parasocial interactions were one of the things I liked the most. Seeing them offstage makes me see them as people and not just as idols and makes me have a stronger bond with them. I feel happy when I see them happy, while for other artists I don't care that much, I just want to listen to their music.

I don't think so. Psycho is a better title track.

I have worn glasses for 14 years now due to myopia and I hope to do eye correction surgery at some point.

IU is the prettiest kpop female soloist
Is it that unpopular? I think you're absolutely right.
