They’ve truly arrived this year
Imo, they have the most balanced success across the board, be it social metrics, charting, sales, country popularity specially in the US, Japan and significantly in SK among their peers. Even in musical accolades they are in all the best of and year-end lists of critics and various industry media outfits, both domestic and international. Their title tracks and B-sides (plural for both) since debut have always done consistently well. They have a presence in both Spotify and Melon - something that they have that their peers don't. They are well-loved and praised by SK producers both for radio and shows. They are showcasing their composing and producing skills. All-around talents in singing and dancing. The icing on the cake is that they are also handsome, ALL of them and pretty tall hence they are favorites of magazines. They are unproblematic, well-known as one of the most polite of groups with great personalities. They trend everywhere for positive things. Best boys.

TXT did not deserve the shabby treatment but even with that they were the group that was trending positively.

Thanks crazydoll86! I got lost in the different charts since TXT is charting in both US Billboard and Oricon with different albums. I don’t know if it’s going to get crazier next week if Chaotic Wonderland makes it to the US Billboard charts.

witty MOAs!
Yesterday it was Mothers of Alwaysness today it’s Moments of Agriculture

I liked their Replay cover the most.
they were luminous in that performance! Replay cover’s one of my favorites. I can understand why their covers are anticipated. The fans of the artists they cover have a positive reaction and now TXT have this reputation of respecting the artistry of the groups they cover and doing justice to the covers.

It happened last year with Eternity. Unless judges score only consist 20% of criteria, they can't win by that. But it's 40% and their sales only had a slight gap with others. So I had a conclusion they might got higher judges scores.
with Eternity I think they did get high scores from the judges. And TCC: Freeze is even more critically acclaimed. So hoping for the best!

Seeing how many threads about gp friendly songs in kpop, this makes me thinking there's no such a gp friendly formula in Japanese music industry.
There's always place for any genres to top the chart or music sales that's why dynamite is really popular in Japan despite it's an English song and the singers aren't Japanese.
The chart always consist Japanese male idol groups, female idol groups, bands, male/female soloist, duo, rock, indie, western singers, kpop.
a very diverse selection

40% judges scores
So, even if certain album has less sales, it can win bonsang if scores from judges is high and surpassed others with more sales.
yes, might be what happened to TXT last year when TDC: Eternity won a bonsang. Cmiiw MassiveKpopFan
