If artists are so worried about charting, then the only safe time to release a song is during new years. Surprise release happen all the time with big artists.

Also, big artists, like BP, plan their whole year's schedule ahead of time, so it doesn't matter if Adele, drake, or the ghost of Michael Jackson are releasing on the same day. If it's planned it will happen

Sure, you can say that promoting doesn't equal to supporting the government, but in the end, Chinese idols promote in China to make money, but they are also performing for the fans, they are not performing for the government. Are people crucifying them because they added "I support China" in their statement? It's not like they said "I support the Chinese communist party". Just because your country has a horrible government, doesn't mean you can't love your country.

Again, even if the forced labor is 100% true, I find it funny that people here want to cancel idols for supposedly "supporting slave labor" when everything they own is made in China.

well Rollin' is an 10/10 song. Everything just clicks together and it's super addicting. But to be honest I think its one of these situations where the song is bigger than the artist, doubt they can follow up with another hit song though. so let them enjoy the ride for now.
